Measuring . . .

1.  Measure the outside width, length and height of the attic stair box frame.  

2.  To determine accurately the height needed measure how high the attic stairs are above the rough frame (2”x 6”) when closed.   Attic ladder rail made with a (1” x 4”) need a 7-inch height Attic Tent.

 

Installation . . .

1.  Place Attic Tent with the zipper heads at the hinge of the attic stair box.

2.  Staple the mounting flange to the rough frame, on all four sides about every 2 – 3 inches.

3.  Seal between mounting flange and rough frame with a bead of calking.
